MECHANICAL DESIGN ENGINEER

Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or closely related field.
Three to five years experience in an automation or machine building environment
Experience with AutoCAD and SolidWORKS
US Citizen or green card holder
Duties and Responsibilities
Works with engineering team to establish design direction, specifications, and concepts for customer automation and improvement projects.
Regularly reports detailed status of projects to group, department, and Director.
Creates a positive work environment that values and encourages the contribution of each member.
Acts as a primary resource for Mechanical Engineering.
Engineer and design packaging equipment, conveying equipment, robotic work cells and end-of-arm tooling (EOAT).
Employ engineering disciplines that promote design for manufacturability and assembly.
Have a keen eye for cost.
Pursue engineering excellence using continuous improvement processes.
Maintain dependable and accurate bills of materials (BOM's).
Maintain, organize and manage engineering product library and software.
Maintain effective cooperation between engineering and shop floor assembly.
Maintain engineering project schedules.
Provide engineering support for co-workers who are working at customer facilities.
Follow detailed instructions, meet production goals and complete work according to standard procedures on assignments from engineering department.
Organizes and maintains project files.
Handle daily operations and manage document files in hard copy/electronic form.
Create designs and drawings for other departments upon request.
Qualifications
Candidates must have a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or closely related field.
Three to five years experience in an automation or machine building environment.
Ability to work with all levels of management.
Solid organizational and planning skills. Must be able to pay attention to detail.
Strong communication skills, articulate, team player, and dependable.
Self-starter, able to work in a fast paced environment with accuracy/efficiency.
Strong communication, problem solving, and analytical skills.
Experience with CAD applications (SolidWorks and AutoCAD).
Must be a US citizen or legally eligible to work in the US. (Green card holder)
Physical Demands and Working Conditions
Position requires prolonged sitting, standing, walking, reaching, twisting, turning, kneeling, bending, squatting, and stooping in the performance of daily activities. The position also requires grasping, repetitive hand movement, in data entry, preparing reports using a computer keyboard. The need to lift, drag, and push files, computer reports, and other materials weighting up to 20 pounds is also required. The incumbent often juggles multiple tasks, works under pressure of deadlines and with frequent interruptions.

Occasional domestic and international travel may be required with this positionEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
